Our Curriculum

We use a variety of techniques and tools to teach and prepare our students.   Our curriculum is based on weekly themes and incorporates the following areas:

Social-emotional development, physical development, science, mathematics, language arts, and creative development.  These areas will encompass the following age-appropriate subjects.

 

MATH

  • Shapes

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Gross motor skills- working on the coordination of larger muscles, including dancing, exercises, throwing/kicking a ball, yoga, etc.
  • Fine motor skills- working on the coordination of small muscles, including puzzles, lacing, beading, playdoh, coloring, etc.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

  • Music- through singing and playing instruments
  • Dramatic play
  • Visual arts- painting, coloring, cutting, gluing, creating
